CHEERLEADING
Cheerleading is a team sport that brings together a group of athletes with a vast variety of skill sets to perform spectacular routines that are not only entertaining but astonishing to watch.
​To be a successful cheerleader takes a combination of teamwork, courage, commitment, determination, strength in character & the right attitude.
​We have a large staff of both Cheer and Dance coaches and instructors, equipped to teach Novice and Beginner Cheer all the way to Level 5 Cheer and Tumbling. Below are the teams that we will be offering in 2019.
Novice
Novice Cheer: is offered in Cheer level 1 only, in all ages. and is perfect for beginners in cheerleading. The idea of Novice Cheer is for the athletes to perfect the very basic skills such as cartwheels, forward and backward rolls and handstands.

Level 1
To be selected for a Level 1 team you will require well executed cartwheels and forward/back walkovers in addition to novice cheer skills.

Level 2
To be selected for a Level 2 team you will require well executed front and back handsprings in addition to Level 1 skills.

Level 3
To be selected for a Level 3 team you will require back and front tucks and continuous back handsprings. You must attend compulsory tumbling classes for skill progression.
​Level 4
To be selected for a Level 4 team you will require front and/or back layouts, standing back tuck as well as working connected tumbling skills. You must attend compulsory tumbling classes for skill progression.

​Level 5
To be selected for a Level 5 team you will require front and/or back twisting layouts, standing back tuck as well as working connected tumbling skills. You must attend compulsory tumbling classes for skill progression.
​
Additional tumbling classes are on offer to progress tumbling skills for level 1 but are non-compulsory.
​
​For levels 2 & above you are required to attend weekly tumbling classes for progression and to meet routine requirements.
